Note:
We do absolutely
everything possible to
keep our charter rates
as reasonable as we can.
Just like any business,
charter fishing rates
are dictated by a host
circumstances and
expenses that are beyond
our control.
Pricing for the 2012
fishing season remains a
challenge due to the
escalating fuel prices.
We have based our price
on the current $3.75 a
gallon. If the current
fuel rate is higher
there will be a small
fuel surcharge added to
the charter rates.
We are vulnerable to
such expenses as fuel,
insurance, dockage, boat
maintenance, fishing
tackle and gear
maintenance, various
licenses, bait costs,
taxes, and many more
things that have been
affected by the rising
inflation. Truth is we
love to go fishing and
would do it for free if
we could but it just
isn't possible. Please
be assured that we
charge the very minimum
rate that we can and we
are dedicated to keeping
our rates as low as is
possible for us to do
and still be able to go
fishing.

Number of People

Our USCG license allows us to
take six passengers on a charter
trip and you are covered by our
blanket fishing license. |

Deposits
-
A $300 deposit is required for full day charters and $150 is required to confirm half day charters. We accept cash, check, PayPal,
and credit cards (3 percent
surcharge) for deposits.
Deposits are returned if you
cancel more then 21 days in
advance. |

First Mate
- Our rates do not include the
tip for the mate. He is the
hardest working member of the
crew. It is customary in North
Carolina to tip charter fishing
mates 15% to 20%.

Fish Cleaning
-
As a courtesy to our guests, we will clean (filet) the first
150 pounds of your day's catch
free. We charge 10¢ per pound
after that. |

Weather Cancellations
-
The Captain has the right to
cancel any charter due to severe
weather or the threat of severe
weather. Your safety and
enjoyment are our number one
objective. In the case of
cancellation at the Captain's
call, a full refund will be made
or we can reschedule ( your
choice to refund or
reschedule). Please
always be prepared to show up at
your scheduled time so that we
can make the "call" at that
time. Note, many times our
coastal weather can be very
fickle and change quickly. Some
of our best fishing can happen
when the weather changes and an
unexpected trip can be run. In
some situations we can also
change your group from a long
distance trip to a less
expensive close up trip and
still save your day of fishing. |
